4/21/2010: Well, indeed... we do have permission to serve beer and wine by the police department. We were told no and then yes... our ABC Permit is in place, 3 ABC Licensed people, and prepare to be ID-checked and wristbanded.
Ky-Enie and Ras Indio are going to be in Napa Valley by midnight tonight. Please welcome our guests from Jamaica and Belize!
4/14/2010: We're proud to announce that Adobe House Restaurant will be providing four fantastic Caribbean-style dishes. There will be a variety of soft drinks available and water. This is an all-ages event---so alcohol will not be provided.
4/6/2010: We've added yet another special guest straight from Jamaica, Ky-Enie. He will be performing when doors open at 4pm!
3/23/2010: Whoa - we just added to more acts to the lineup. Rocker T will be joining forces with Ishi Dube. Opening the biggest concert in the Valley on Earth Day will be the Midnight Sun Band! So, if you have not bought your tickets, do so now and save $5. Advance $20 / Door $25.
3/11/2010: This event is shaping up to to be the concert of Napa Valley on Earth Day---we can't thank you all enough for the outpouring of support coming from Reggae Aficionados from out of town---to our local Arts Coalition organizations. We even got some very special notable reggae fans showing up, but we gotta keep that on the down-low. You'll be side-by-side with some of the best in reggae on that very special day!
Mark your calendar for April 24, 2010, Napa's Earth Day evening celebration: "Reggae in the Valley" Festival with David Kirton from Barbados, Ras Indio from Belize, Ishi Dube with Rocker T, Mystic Roots, Million 7 Crew, Napa Valley's own reggae band, C.R. Vibes and Midnight Sun.
The event will be held at The Napa Valley Expo, Chardonnay Hall (575 3rd Street) in Napa, CA and will benefit Arts Council Napa Valley's Arts Education Programs.
